1. The service
GetSeen (getseen.work) is a discovery and visibility directory. It lets independent professionals and agencies publish public listings, and lets visitors browse those listings and contact people directly. Listings can be boosted to appear higher among sponsored results. GetSeen is not an employer, agency, marketplace, escrow service, or staffing firm, and it does not take part in any work or contract that results from a listing.
2. Who we are
GetSeen is operated personally by Chidera Anthony, an individual based in Nigeria. There is no company behind the service. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Chidera Anthony.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use GetSeen. If you submit a listing on behalf of an agency or another person, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
4. Listings
When you submit a listing, you agree that you:
- have the right and authority to publish the information;
- will provide materially accurate, non-misleading information;
- will not impersonate any person or organization;
- will not publish unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content;
- hold the necessary rights to any linked or referenced materials (portfolio, images, profiles); and
- keep any public contact details appropriate for public display.
You are responsible for the content of your listing and for keeping it accurate.
5. Moderation
Listings are submitted for review and are not guaranteed to be approved. We may approve, reject, hide, or remove any listing, at our reasonable discretion, for safety, policy, fraud, legal, or quality-control reasons. We may do this with or without notice.
6. No verification or endorsement
GetSeen does not verify listings. Unless we expressly state otherwise, we do not verify any person’s identity, credentials, skills, licences, portfolio accuracy, availability, or suitability, and a listing is not an endorsement or recommendation by us. Visitors must do their own due diligence before engaging anyone found through the service.
7. Direct, off-platform relationships
Visitors contact professionals directly and deal with them off-platform. GetSeen is not a party to any agreement, engagement, or transaction between a visitor and a listed professional or agency. We do not hold project funds, provide escrow, manage delivery of work, or resolve ordinary commercial disputes between clients and professionals. Any such dealings are strictly between the parties involved.
8. Sponsored rankings and boosts
- Any approved listing may be boosted, and anyone may boost anyone.
- Verified, successful boost payments accumulate into one cumulative sponsored total per listing.
- Sponsored order — on the homepage Live Market and in relevant Directory views — reflects that cumulative verified boost total. It does not reset; a position holds until another listing overtakes it. Where two listings are tied, the one that reached the total first ranks ahead.
- A higher sponsored position is not a measure of quality, skill, or endorsement. It reflects payment only.
- A boost does not imply that the payer owns or controls the listing. Past payments are always retained; a refunded or reversed payment stops contributing to the total.

9. No performance guarantee
GetSeen makes no guarantee of any outcome. We do not promise any level of impressions, clicks, enquiries, interviews, contracts, sales, income, or work — whether a listing is boosted or not.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- commit fraud or impersonate any person or organization;
- advertise or facilitate illegal services;
- post malicious, deceptive, or harmful links or content;
- send spam or harass others;
- scrape or harvest the service at abusive scale;
- attempt to manipulate the payment or ranking systems;
- attack, overload, or interfere with the service; or
- collect personal data from the service unlawfully.
11. Intellectual property
The GetSeen name, branding, and software are ours or our licensors’, and remain our property. You keep all rights to the content you submit; we do not claim ownership of your listing content, portfolio, or external materials. You grant us only the limited, non-exclusive permission needed to host, display, and promote your listing within the service while it is live. You may withdraw this permission by removing your listing.
12. Third-party services
GetSeen relies on and links to third parties, including Bachs for payments and external sites such as portfolio links and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for third-party services or websites, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
13. Suspension and removal
We may suspend, hide, or remove listings or restrict access to the service where reasonably necessary — for example for policy or legal reasons, suspected fraud, or to protect the service and its users.
14. Disclaimers
GetSeen is a directory and discovery tool provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties we have not expressly made, including as to the accuracy of listings, the conduct or suitability of anyone listed, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GetSeen and Chidera Anthony will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or the acts or omissions of anyone you find or engage through the service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the boost giving rise to the claim in the 3 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory legal protections available to you where you live.
17. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and continued use of GetSeen means you accept the updated terms.
